The game is quite relatable, this is not constrained to 2020 only, this could be the result of any natural disaster.

Well I must say I didn't expect a horror game, but I suppose 2020 has been quite the horror show! Definitely caused me to jump a few times, so mission accomplished. As for the gameplay as a whole though I think it could use some work. For instance monsters (and food too I think) seem to appear at the same spots every time which makes it kind of easy to memorize. I also noticed that monsters can trigger through walls if you're close enough, so you'll probably want to implement some sort of raycast to the player to check that they're  actually in the room the monster is and not behind a wall. Nice start to a game though, I think if you build on it and tweak it some more you can make a decent horror game.
