Amalthea, the Annual Technical Summit of IIT Gandhinagar, in collaboration with DigiS, the game development of IIT Gandhinagar is looking for some enthusiastic game developers out there. Game Jam 2020 AD is sponsored by Beamable. Beamable, provides a Unity SDK enables game makers to easily add social, commerce and content management features to their games with drag-and-drop prefabs inside Unity3D without the need of a game server.
If you are facing any issues in building your game, we are organising a workshop on Beamable. Beamable can be really useful in adding social, commerce and content management features to your game. Beamable is sponsoring the GameJam 2020 AD and we have special prizes (apart from $300) for the games that integrate Beamable.

The theme for the jam is '2020'
To participate all you need is an itch.io account. If you do not have an account, you can create one here.
- You can work in teams of any size.
- The game should be clean that is no NSFW content.
- Pre-made assets can be used as long as you have the rights to use in your games.
- Your game should be submitted within the time-frame. However, minor updates are allowed after the game has been submitted.
The submitted games will be rated from 1 to 5 on the basis of the following five criteria:
- Adherence to Theme
- Innovation
- Audio
- Game Design
- Graphics
Everyone who participated (submitters and contributors) can rate.
There will be 3 overall winners. The top 20 rated games would be reviewed by us for these 3.
There will be one winner from each criteria (based purely on ratings). So 5 category winners as well.
- 1st Prize - $100
- 2nd Prize - $70
- 3rd Prize - $30
- 5 Category Winners - $20 each. (Adherence to Theme, Innovation, Audio, Game Design, and Graphics)
