Hi mate, I like what you have done, it all works well.

If you want some feedback I'd suggest adding some minibosses along the way, i.e. double the size of some of the mobs and give them twice the health, but make them spawn a pile of coins when they die.
You might also want to make some of the pots and other furniture spawn things when you shoot them, maybe some health pots or extra ammo to give some incentive to shoot other things.

Overall a solid game though and very much on theme, nice job.
