Very hectic, and an interesting game concept. Nice job on your first solo game jam! Audio would be a great addition to the game.
I love that you have a README and License file (main criteria for open source category).
Seems like I could just spam spacebar to win 😅. The concept is interesting, and the colours are very lively. Add some music and sound effects for more immersive gameplay. I would also add something of a tutorial level or similar rather than simply getting immediately and constantly attacked. Great job for your first solo game.
