- This game has a strong gameplay loop and I love it. The controls are simple and responsive. It adheres incredibly well with the theme as well by being able to plant, defend it, and then harvest it. Usually farming games allow you to take your time but, this game flips that and makes it engaging and fast paced. However, I do have some notes about the level design. The placement of the farm is too close to where the enemies spawn. There's a lot of space that's just not being utilized for gameplay on the right. The house doesn't really have any function and could just be placed elsewhere. The shop takes up a lot of space too when the only use it for is to be able to access the shop. I love that the game displays a healthy amount of game juice (or game feel). The playable character leaves dust trails. The main menu feels alive. The UI feels incredibly smooth such as when opening and closing it. However, it does feel too much when attacking and the screen shakes. There's no point in shaking the screen when attacking nothing since you are not hitting anything. I think it would work best when the screen shake is utilized only when hitting enemies. The graphics could be improved a lot. The lighting could be toned a lot more so that it's not too glaring to the eyes. The pixel art could use a more cohesive palette to better suit the atmosphere of the game (Just go to Lospec). Don't upscale pixel art to make them bigger than other elements because pixel art looks best when the size of the individual pixels are consistent. Overall, I love the game and would like to see it worked on further and exploring more ideas because there is a very strong gameplay loop here that's fun, quick, and satisfying. As a Godot enthusiast myself, I am very pleased to see the game engine being utilized. I hope you guys learned a lot during the short time that you've had developing the game and to carry it in your next game to develop.

Great game, had a blast playing it! Looking forward to more games created by you guys!
Thank you for the rating!! I agree there's some bugs and missing features in the game and it's unfortunate I ran out of time to fix those. but I'm really happy with how it turned out!
