Was enjoying the experience up until the end, when I seemed to be pushing the boss back endless while walking on water. The general theme and tone of the game were consistent but I felt like there could have been different enemies. I liked the stick mechanic but I was wondering what was motivating it.
Overall it was fun to play and a little awkward in the mechanics, but not in the theme.
Movement could be faster in order to dodge attacks. Elaborate backgrounds. Retro music is good for pixel art but needs feedback SFX from moving, attacks, and hits. Could not determine how this ties into theme. Level Design was good. Some times the screen would not move. I would get killed by things off the screen.
