This is a fun little game! I like the spells system, it makes things more lively and you put in a lot of good ideas for them. It might be helpful to have more side paths through the maze since the linear nature of it stops players from meeting too often and I think that makes the traps less useful. 

This was pretty neat. It's got an interesting concept and I can really see it fostering competition between the players.
