I've never played Borderlands, but I'm still able to appreciate the vibe this supplement provides, which complements the FIST universe as portrayed in the core rules. And lack of knowledge about Borderlands in no way inhibits bringing these Traits into a game. They're all clear, colorful, and could easily be slotted into other game worlds or scenarios.

Looter Fist is a single page Borderlands inspired Trait pack for FIST.

The layout is simple, but mixes Borderlands' splashy evocative blood and dirt vibe with FIST's more staid technical manual look.

Somewhat surprisingly, the Traits all fit well within FIST's wheelhouse. Nothing feels like a promotional item, and they each have some nice tactical and narrative weight. There's sort of a focus on pet classes, but I don't think that's a bad thing, and there's mechanics for recovering your pets if anything unfortunate happens.

Overall, if you want to add a few new Traits to your FIST game, this is an excellent pick. Also it plays really well with other add-ons, so if you're already including a supplemental Trait pack or other hack, it's worthwhile to throw this one in too.
