It took me some time to find out that there is the prayer category and the jumpscare is a bit unnecessary in my opinion, but other than that I liked it.

- Cool game ! Even tho it only had a single playable character, juggling with the different abilities and different enemies was cool, I specially liked the healing over time ability. The dialogs were cool, I'm not sure I understood the end tho. The music, art and mood of the game was really good. My only problem was with the "prayer" category of abilities, I don't know if it's "common RPG maker knowledge", but I assumed there was only 4 categories and didnt think of looking down there for a 5th one so I ran out of MP 3 times on the first fight, escaped and started over until I found the prayer menu to get back my MP, once I figured out I enjoyed the combat.
- This turned out pretty great! The story was well told and the visuals were really great, from the designs to how they were drawn. The combat was good too with a surprising level of depths with the move pool. The main issue I had was with how the info is presented to the player. there were basically a lot of small issues that added up to the battles being pretty confusing especially for the first one. The text went by too fast during the attack phase so it was tough to keep track of what the enemies were doing, No health bar on the enemies meant you basically just had to guess how close each enemy was to death, and also being presented 12 moves from the start was pretty intimidating. Some issues like the last one are kind of inevitable when trying to do a short RPG for a jam, but some of them could have been fixed. Overall though, really cool experience that kept me engaged to the end

Huh now that I'm thinking about it I paid money for the two music tracks by Murray Atkinson and the RPG Maker sfx aren't public domain either guess I'm disqualified anyway besides those there's also three other tracks that are from a free music pack on the RPG Maker Net forum but actually one of them never plays but the creator is still in the credits
