This was an interesting take on the line matching style puzzle games.  Also the sounds and music were really catchy.  I'm not very good at tetris, but I feel like a little animation when blocks are matched might help, because sometimes it was hard to tell which disappeared, and I had a few unexpected matches, like the falling blocks matching while they were still moving, or 1 being on a different level matching with 2 below them, 1 tile over.  The row shifting really helps to open space and prevent yourself from getting locked down. I think the highlight showing which row you are selecting should probably be border instead of a transparent color because it did make it harder to tell what blocks were under it.   Solid submission!

Thanks a ton Jay! I was going to add an effect when the blocks dissapeared, then they would fly towards the score box and add points. Sprites for that were unused and are still in the game files hehe.
About the unexpected row clearing, well I might change it too, I considered it a gimmick, but making it togglable (just as the outline instead of the transparent block) in future updates.
As to right now, I am waiting for feedback so I can add updates and maybe in a future release this for phones or browser!
Thanks for playing Jay!

Hey Jay!
I would like to inform you that I just fixed the unintended block clear bug has been fixed and will be added in the next update

Man, this was actually fantastic! It's like finding a long-lost DOS game. Everything felt really snappy and responsive, the graphics look super clean and retro. It's a nice twist on the genre.
