Hello! Welcome to Feedback Quest! My name's Hythrain, and I'm one of the hosts for these FQ Mini events. I'm also a streamer who regularly plays all of the games in FQ events!
Right off the bat, I absolutely adored this game. Mr. Moo is fantastic. I love him so much. I also love his running animation. It 100% cracks me up!
I managed to get through all of the levels (for those stuck on 4, jump over the meteor after baiting it to fall), and I was surprised at both how difficult and yet how easy the last stage was. Trying to time when to run in with such a large character can be tricky. Once issue I ran into a lot was when a wall would close in, instead of doing its full animation it would just be there in full and I'd die instantly. It may be worthwhile to slow the walls coming in a bit to give players a slightly bigger window for moving around.
I do agree with the statement that music is something you need to make it better, though it's also quite slow. I would also recommend some sort of tracking for when you die to the boss in the last stage, where it'll skip through its dialogue on subsequent attempts.
Otherwise, I want more Mr. Moo. When do you plan to make a full length game with this silly cow? Also, isn't he a bull?
A full length game with Mr. Moo is something I would love to do, but unfortunately it isn't something I'm planning on doing anytime soon. When designing him I wanted to do something similar to how in the show SpongeBob, Squidward isn't actually is a squid. His confusing looks and name just make him that much better to me. Thank you so much for the feedback! If Mr. Moo ever becomes a full game, I will definitely take what you said into consideration!!
I uh, don't think you can beat level 4.
The sound design is good, but it really needs a quick bit of music.
The art is super cute though, and the walking animation is so goofy and cute, and I love it.
