I normally don't play choice-based games, but this has motivated me to play more games like this.  Great work.

I'm glad you liked it! I also didn't play choice-based or really anything text-based, but when I thought of the idea, I decided to go for it and do it! And I'm really happy with the result!

I liked the effects and UI (though at some points later in the game the very large text went off the bottom of the screen for me and I couldn’t make it out). It’s a simple game but put together well with nice sounds, animations, and text effects. I also really love how strongly you incorporated the theme (the good ending was a nice play on that) but I will say that doing it in such a way that “the second one” was always the correct answer kind of took the “game” out of it since there wasn’t much player agency or challenge. Besides that little gripe I think this is a good submission that I can tell a lot of hard work went into, great job!

Developer

Thanks! I had to make the presentation the strong point of the game, since originally it was going to be a visual novel but I'm no artist, so when I decided it was going to be text-based it had to look more than pretty. There is a full-screen button in the bottom-right corner, if that's what you meant. I'm realy happy to know that all the things I wanted to convey to the player and worked an extra for are noted. I'm glad you like it and more glad you noticed!

PS: Technically it isn't a game but more of a narrative, I hope that still counts!

Great game! I love how the theme is so heavily integrated throughout the game. The transitions between the tutorial to the main menu, as well as the good ending to the main menu are very good and creative.

Developer

Well, I'm glad you like it! I wanted all scenes to have the transition, for coherence.

Played together with girlfriend, the idea is super nice, but there were some bugs (text overflow). Would be great to have an ability to show full text on click

Developer

I know! It was especially hard when I tested it, but I  couldn't get it right for some reason. I had to abandon the idea because t was taking too long...

I didn't get to the end but... It was strangely compelling :)

Developer

Wow, thanks! There are three endings, needless to say, the good ending is the best one!
