The menu and art style is cool and interesting looking. However, the graphics in motion have flickering lights and reflections, which are very distracting. Was one of your goals working with a new lighting system?
The gameplay itself is fine, the combining and gravity logic makes it possible to get some combos going. But it felt a bit flat without any visual feedback or sounds.
When a piece spawns it takes ages to appear unless you use the fast drop, the game is slow enough so I don't think you need that delay at the start. The rotations don't have a kickback system so you can't rotate nicely if you hit the edge of the screen.
It has the potential to be a cool looking mini game, and the concept and aesthetic foundation you built during the jam are incredibly strong. With a bit more polish, you have a really neat project on your hands!
