Hyperspace Jump's itch.io pageTheme inspiration
When I read the theme "passage", the first thing I thought of was a long and possible dangerous trip from point A to point B. Since I'm a space nerd, making a game about flying through space seemed neat.
Sensory info
There is a bit of a flash when the player dies (but not a bright one), and there is also a somewhat sudden noise along with it.

As another space geek, I really enjoyed your game! Has common elements with mine tbh. More variety with objects you can come across would be cool. I can also see this stlye of dodging-objects-jump-into-hyperspace mechanic being implemented in a bigger scale space game!
Glad you enjoyed it! Yea I was hoping to add things like ship wreckage as debris, but I only have a couple hours left till the jam ended by the time I was done with everything else, and I was feeling pretty spent at the time to so I just went "mehh, I'll update it later maybe", lol.
And your game looks pretty neat too! It's been on my list of games to try from the jam for several days now.
