We tried to create an "awesome experience" per second rather focusing on just the word "awesome" itself. We tried to make an "awesome experience" in our game throughout by having the players be able to set the pace of their match. Since they can grab the ball and decide when to throw it, the other player needs to play reactively and in some cases act pre-emptively depend on player 1's positioning. We think "awesome per second" essentially can be summarized by the cumulative feelings felt playing the game. In our game, we wanted to invoke feelings excitement through clutch reactions, or smart maneuvering to trick the opponent as to where you would throw the bomb.
