In what way(s) does your game fit the jam theme?
I came across the idea for this game while watching my favorite streamer play Enter the Gungeon. I felt that every moment in that game felt awesome, so I decided to make a top-down shooter in the same vein. I added my own twist of tree-like procedural generation (based off the dungeon generation in Etrian Mystery Dungeon), so that every play had its unique challenges. Last minute I made it so that the farther you go, the harder the enemies are to defeat, so there are always tense moments. I ran short on time, but I think I got the main game feel down. I would have loved to add sound and more enemy types, but I didn't have time to figure out how to do that.
