- Thanks for the game! I really liked the philosophical idea behind the game of you becoming one of them, pretty nice use of meaning ingredients. The graphic is nice, maybe I'd add more stages of "becoming the sphere" to make it more clear. For the game jam, it has enough playtime to feel decent long, but the pacing is meh, I really didn't like the switch from gun to the sword. For me it should be in reverse, starting with the sword and then proceeding to the gun. The audio could get a little more love, but at least there is something and it fits into the overall feel. Overall nice small project, but it would need some work to have it properly playable. Thanks, and see you at the next jam!
- In this game you are a cube warrior slashing spherical enemies spawning in the land around your castle. The game ends when you kill them all. During the play your cube becomes more and more rounded until final spherical form, the outro reveals you have become like your enemies, a killer. I like the cube morphing to sphere idea, it is something that could be developed more. But the game itself is really what I described in a first paragraph - a generic walk and kill game that could be created singlehandedly in a few hours; ok, the assets (which look good, do not mistake me) may take some more time to make. It took four more people and much more hours to create similarly sophisticated game that takes more than 250 MB space (for a simple game) and seriously stutters on my laptop (no problems with other games, some were 3D too) to be nearly unplayable. My recommendations: Keep your ideas, be more ambitious, but gain more experience with the tools and try other tools and engines. Unreal Engine is not very suitable for game jams, using it is very slow and it generates nonsensically huge files that are much more demanding on computer resources.
