  • This is game about killing your opponents in a quite unexpected way - by using them against each other. You are a wiz... magician who wants something from villagers... but the village is under attack of Roman legion and it needs your help - killing all the attackers (yes, just this very little service). So the magician walks among the attackers and they mindlessly follow you and try to stab you... and at that moment, you use your spells and suddenly, on tips of their spades lay their comrades. The game starts with a story that even somehow manages to convey personalities of characters (even without dubbing). The intro scene before the fight was first obstacle for me... I even managed to leave the screen by its edge, I thought I was expected to go further... but no, I was expected to go to the door in one of the buildings. The fight itself works well, but getting rid of the last enemy soldier was quite bland and the outro... was there any? Just a scene with text, but no dialogue, no followup... I can only hope the story was the last thing that was worked on. The fight with legion that goes mindlessly to you in a level that doesn't contain any obstacles or any other form of structure can get boring and you hope the game ends soon; also the last soldier... I was hoping for something more interesting (what about archers shooting themselves?). This game is solid 3rd-5th place to me. It is playable, there is a solid idea of gameplay, but it doesn't feel finished or fun. But I like the soldier death sound.
  • Thaks for the submitted game! I'd say overall it's a pretty nice small game. Ingredients are used nicely, the friendly fire mechanic would be one of my favorite use of atypical use of a cube from this jam. The gameplay is intuitive and fun, and yet it is a perfect length to not be very repetitive. Combined with the story with some funny jokes it makes a few nice minutes for you. For my taste, the two enemy types are maybe a little too little, but for the jam version, it is enough. Thanks a lot for the game. See you at our next jam!
  • - Skvělý je nápad "nečekaných souvislostí" - sice jiný, než jsem očekával, ale o to je to zajímavější! Kdo by čekal, že klíčem k poražení nepřátel bude friend fire? 5/5 - Legie je tak nějak zastupitelná, podobně jako kostka. - Hra je originální, jen bych čekal - po hypersložitém Forrest Wrath z minula - i víc komplikací - komba nepřátel, pasti, zdi, atd. - Smysly se nakonec - nastesti - vyuzili dobre. byt by bylo fajn misto "jednou to pouzijes" schopnost nechat s obrim cooldownem - jen at si hrac sam pokazi svoji hru :) - a škoda, že kostička neměla větší roli. - oceňuji mikropříběh a vtipnost, stejně jako tutoriál.
