I decided to think outside the box on this one. The theme was economy, thus the bot posted recent "World Economic" news. It made it stand out from all the other bots. And yes, $news is very spammy, my knowledge of bot coding/javascript was very limited at that time. Thanks for your response though, and I would love to hear more.
