This was cool, although I also got stuck trying to figure out how to move diagonally and ended up downloading the mac version so I could look at the source code. (it’s Q and E for those wondering) It’s an interesting concept, I hope you keep working on this!
One thing, it doesn’t say you can capture pieces from the side, but I was able to. I'm not sure if that's a bug because I can’t figure out how I could win without doing that.

I've updated the itch.io page's description with the keys. I *think* capturing by the side is a real feature because I needed it to win as well. Lol. I'll update the in game instructions too.

I just published random (including impossible) level generation after finishing the first level.
I think the biggest problem is the E key is too close to the R key. Lol. Have fun!

I'm intrigued! But I couldn't figure out how to take pieces diagonally. Can you explain the controls?
