- I just wish there was a little more game here. Good use of theme, but I'm not sure how much of the assets (music & graphics) are from RPG Maker. I liked it generally.
- Interesting use of theme! The visual aethestic feels a bit jarring, but I enjoyed trying to get away from Derrick!

I like the unexpected outcomes for this game. I also really like the concept where you have to carefully navigate a social situation with Derrick to prevent consequences. However, some of the gameplay felt so buggy that I wasn't really able to progress in the game and explore all the options.
I wish this game had more Derrick
Me too. Because of work I only had 6am to 12:30pm sunday to crank out the game. It was a big rush. I actually wanted it to last 7 days minimum. Now that the competition is over, i can get feedback and hopefully complete the entire game. Something like "Seven days with Derrick" or "365 days with Derrick".
What did you like about it? What could I improve, or i could incorporate?
I was just joking but if you actually want real feedback here we go:
- I'm not a huge fan of the post processing. The game looks much much better without it. The visuals are way crisper.
- Can't get enough Derrick
- I like the idea of making an entire game around just dealing with one annoying guy. I think that could get very annoying for the player though. How would you make it fun?
- A tutorial for controls would be nice
- Make a distinction between when the player is talking and when Derrick is talking
- Make it more clear what will happen when you choose a dialogue option. Right now it's just guesswork
- Like the art and sound :) Good luck on your journey!!!!!
