Fun quick little dungeon crawler with neat charm, and I really liked the torch's animation! A nice way to spend a couple of hours on a weekend, although now I am *THIRSTY* and *HUNGRY*...
I didn't realize how close I was to the end after beating the Golem, and waited an entire week for my next time off to dive in...WHOOPS!
I enjoyed the dialog bits and fun asides in the combats and with the NPCs, along with bringing so much nostalgia of the LORDing daze. Great job on the game and if a full version does come out, I would be more than happy to put in my $15 real dollars!
Cute theme, have plenty of friends who have sent me the Three Kobolds in a Trenchcoat things. Nice fun level up mechanic w/ neat shiny stuffz to loot, had a great time (minus one crash but I think it was because I was moving too fast XD )
Oh I remember once upon a time as a mini-DC where I deleted the System32 from my dad's compy...that did NOT go over well! But at least I didn't cause any Y2K nonsense crashing down on us!
Besides that, the game was cute and silly and funny, even if our best friendo Clippy was misportrayed as an antagonist :D :P
Besides from one crash (and maybe a bug where when I started the 3rd level I didn't start with any cards and it led to a death), I had a great time! It was a neat twist to not try to overkill your opponents, and the different currencies for upgrading vs purchasing was also a neat addition to the deckbuilding adventure! The easter egg area was also super sweet! MEOWSELLES!
A slick little dungeon crawler deckbuilder with some neat character customization options at the start! I didn't realize Cleave would end my turn, and the rat each inflicted insane amounts of poison on me, which insta-gibbed my first run. After learning that lesson, I managed to win my second time through as a 'Knight'! I'm curious about the other character combos you can try, and how different builds will change the gameplay! Really fun time :)
Had a blast, literally and figuratively! The music was hype, the gameplay was intense (for an old man like myself anyways), and now I gotta know what the other ending is! Great job once again, just like last year's submission, I had a fun time!
This hit all the nostalgia feels in the right places! I appreciate old keyboard command style gameplay, and it takes me back to my younger days, mimicking what I was seeing my dad do on his Gold Boxing journeys! Nice bit of 'sequel baiting' at the end, hope to see the next part, maybe even in next year's game jam!
I enjoyed the humorous dialogue and the interesting item descriptions. I also enjoyed the different playstyles I could have done (I went with a basic boring melee build, ala our 'heeeeeeroooooo' Gorekiller, but I might try a magic build next time!). The only thing that made me really want to quit was that SPOILERS puzzle at the end. But I'm not that good at puzzles myself, so others' mileage may vary! Overall a very good time!
I appreciated the dual mechanics of controlling your mech, as well as utilizing the appropriate side for the situation. I liked its charm, especially with the mouse coffee times! The sound effects and music were enjoyable, and overall I had a really good time! Thanks for making the game!
Really cool and unique take on the dungeon crawler in general. Would love to try a more fleshed out version with perhaps a quest log and a status screen but really enjoying it so far.
