  • This is insane. Simply very cool. The idea of a non-real-time 3D exploration game, where you remotely command a bot around to view a space is very fun. I like the atmosphere and the color scheming gives it a very spooky vibe. I will be playing more through this. But the sounds, the environment, the webpage layout around the Pico8 player, it's all beautifully done. I very much enjoyed this. Good work!
  • A little tough to learn what to do, but the aesthetics of the game and page really motivated me to do so. Once I did, it was really fun to send commands and control the SB-1800 to explore the world. The graphics and technical achievements are incredible. Very well done!
  • Absolutely fantastic. The computer terminal, the green palette, the 3d rendering.. it all makes for a great looking game with an awesome idea! The fact that you used the fact that any kind of rendering in pico-8 is slow, and tunred that into a selling point where you have to scan every time you need to see what's happening. Nice!
  • Unbelievably cool thing you're made here , I had a bit of trouble figuring out how it works- and I feel like it goes way deeper than I was able to .. too . Also that itch page is phenomenal
  • Adherence to Theme and Creativity: 5 Programming a robot to come home with a custom language is nothing but spot on for these two! Gameplay Innovation and Enjoyment: 4 Creating a custom programming language is a lot of work which was done beautifully. The only thing that turns down this a notch for me is two-fold: In a game like this a simple scan feels unneded as we have repeat scan. I feel that should be the default case. As of now the scan feels like a gimmick rather then a function. If some areas would turn it off, power to the people. If there is one like it, I'm sorry, I missed it as I was kinda stuck at door 3, not being able to find where to go. Hiding stuff is great in most of the games but I feel like I looked around enough (which is kinda tedious to do) and did not found my way. I'm dumb, but it's part of the enjoyment. Technical Execution and Presentation: 5 The game is beatufully done, hand crafted and comes across as an amazing experience. I NEED some music though, but everything else is so on spot that I feel like it would be disservice to deduct for that.
  • Incredible presentation and vibes. Truly stunning. Will present to many players quite the tall order in terms of commitment to its principles. But an astounding achievement nonetheless!

I really liked what was going on in this. The idea of a command line to enter inputs like Logo coupled with a slow refreshing feed of what your robot can see is super atmospheric. It's all incredibly well executed, awesome stuff.
