I loved the fire and gas systems, they were very cool. The game tho had an unfortunate tendency to get stuck, like zombies endlessly bumping into walls, and even zombies softlocking me in place. I think it was a bit weird how powerless you were as the player; you could only kill one or two shooters, and from there had to hope that fire, gas or zombies would get everyone. I did manage to complete the game, and I must say, that last level was bloody brutal. I was constantly preying that the two zombies I had wouldn't trigger explosive barrels or get stuck on walls.
Overall the game was really cool, and I loved the asthetic and cullular evolution thing that you had going. The classic ascii look is very neat.
Thank you so much for playing! I'll be sure to develop this idea later in a non-jam setting, hopefully I can make something more replayable. I'd say this is very inspiring to hear about my game design debut! Thanks!
