The theme of the game is added in quite a philosophical way, if you interpret it this way.
Despite being it a bit laggy, and there were specific steps to take, I managed to finish the game.
At first, I was confused with the keyboard buttons, since I am used to just click/press a button whenever there is an objective to accomplish (pick berries, make fire, etc.). I'm glad you added a guide for this confusion.
Overall, great job on the game jam project, Team Bonobo Solutions!

thanks for the comment! we know that the game currently has some nasty bugs, it's still in development. we couldn't finish every feature as we planned. the current version is rather a concept than a full game. we hope playing it was still enjoyable. : )

The intractable don't seem to work fine for me. Picking up berries cant get branch. You need to take specific steps to finish the game.

WASD - move
X - eat an apple from the first tree
C - break off a branch from the dead tree
F - make fire
B - collect berries
