This is a really nice, and neet idea for a horror game. The footsteps were super polished (both visually and audio wise) which made for a better experience.

As for improvment:
-In the case of a game jam game, I don't spend enough time to relay the entire game to get a new ending (I did the "Reset with it" ending. Perhaps make a way for the player to get all ending, that doesn't involve having to replay the entire game.
-Don't get me wrong, I loved the art-style of this game. However, I felt that the flare efects and the sound "ripples" didn't fit in, as they weren't all too "pixely" like the rest of the game.
-Some of the gameplay is a bit repeating. Perhaps you should've experimented more with the vents, including a maze of such.

Otherwise well polished, and fun game.

  • Theme: Certainly seemed mostly relevant to deja vu.
  • Enjoyment: Horror isn't really my thing, but I enjoyed the atmospheric aspects of what was happening. The first chase felt a bit of a miss for me.
  • Design: Aside from a bit of a stage design that seemed to make trial and error gameplay a bit more likely in the parts that required reflexes, I think this was pretty well done.
  • Presentation: Despite or perhaps because of its minimalistic nature this game worked pretty well!
  • Gameplay: A little slow in places--in being able to walk a bit faster outside of the chase sequences would have been a welcome feature. But mostly good as an atmospheric-horror-walking-sim sort of thing
  • Other: I got the bad ending; I did not replay for the other.
