How does your concept engage in the jam's themes?
This game is centered around the idea of restoring nature through changes in agriculture and the challenges that come with it in regards changing of land management and agricultural practices for farmers especially smaller ones.
Use of Theme / Inspiration
the main theme of the jam which I have chosen to incorporate was 'change the story', the game being set in Punjab (an area with great environmental degradation), I felt it would fit best because not only is this a spin on an existing genre (changing the story in that capacity) but also is a story about regrowth and change in itself.

Love the idea of playing as an elderly rather than the usual, I think it helps with the idea that anybody can do their part. This seems like a big project, I'm looking forward to seeing your progress in the coming weeks :)
The scope of this game is massive and there is only one person in the team, right? There are lots of farming simulators out there. What makes this one special?
What makes it special is that it doesn't focus solely on farming. That's a part of the game but the primary goal is restoring the natural environment while also balancing your funds.
The idea is to emulate the difficulties of nature friendly farming.
The game sounds very interesting already! One piece of advice I would give is perhaps to make sure everything is within scope for the time given. Having seasons and a whole farming system might be quite a lot.
I agree with you on the seasons,it's the part of the game that is least necessary so that's probably getting cut considering the number of systems it requires.
I checked our your game as well it looks really good!
Your idea brings a unique perspective, and I like the pixel art concepts.
Really cool take and sounds very personal, I can't wait to see what you make!
Thank you so much! I absolutely loved your idea as well
