As part of this Game Jam, we'll have online webinars leading up to the Jam for those who are interested in learning more about oceans and climate science and for those who want a re-fresh or tips on Game Jams & game design.  We'll also have an in-person celebration at the University of Delaware on March 8th. We'll post registration links (free) here as we have dates and times confirmed.

Looking for ocean-themed inspiration? Have science questions about your marine game idea?  Need a teammate? Join a panel of University of Delaware marine scientists who will talk about what inspires them most, answer your questions, and have open discussion time in small groups to meet potential teammates.

What makes designing an environmental game different from other types of games? Hear from Clayton Whittle - coauthor of the Environmental Game Design and advisor to international game jams - on how you can use principles of transformation, climate psychology, and design tactics to make your environmental games more effective.  Participants will have an activity to help jumpstart the Jam, and we'll have  open discussion time in small groups to meet potential teammates.
