We wanted to make the player have to escape from 'them' - while he has to take pauses to eat ice cream in order not to overheat. Alas, we didn't manage to implement that due to time constraints.
Do you want to describe the goal of the game, or how you would have progressed with more time?
Well the initial idea was you are driving a truck through the desert, kind of like in Mad Max and you have to pause at gas stations to refill, meet people and try to run away from them. i.e. don't pause too often/too long.
However we had trouble finding good graphics for that theme so we went back to making pause at an ice cream van.
Not sure if I'm missing something, but without a description it's a bit hard to see how this fits into the theme. Is there anything else to do, after buying ice cream?
