This is a really great idea! As the author says, it's a system of rules that sits perfectly halfway between a board game and a role-playing game, managing to take the best of both worlds. I also really liked the two "versions" of the game, the collection version and the survival version.

In just a few pages, there's a solid system of ideas that works well. I was really impressed.

I think I fell in love with this game! So far, it has been wonderful for my writing practice (journaling and describing the region's features through a character's perspective) and a very fun worldbuilding experience :>
