Thanks! For the blue platforms, if you hit enough of them ( 3 for smaller ones 5 for larger ones ) then you can actually destroy them, if you use your candy grenade you can knock down the red platforms. Ran out of time to provide decent instructions!

Cool. Like your use of common candy combined to make a ship and enemies etc. If I got it right, it was OK to change color of blue and then they were fine? It also felt like my ship liked to drag to the left when holding no keys pressed (and fly outside screen). Good game though.
