really nice concept, bugs aside i had fun decorating~! love the art, especially the slime sprites, they're adorable!! the music is lovely too <3 i tried to make a horror-themed party ^^

Awesome! We tried to include colors that fit across the 'fun bubbly' to 'spooky' spectrum with what little we had, glad you had fun, it looks great!

I think the idea is very good and that postjam you can build something very fun. The issue of collisions with other objects has bothered me a little (they are always a problem) but as a first version it is already something solid. Congrats and keep doing games!

Thank you!

I like the idea, althought I found the gameplay a little confusing. It is really neccesary for the player to be able to move freely for this type of game? Also, I don't get what the point of the rooms other than the main room are. I do like the idea of making a game around decorating a room for throwing a party, and think there is a lot of potential to expand this into a bigger project. Good job!

I bit off waaaaaaaaaay more than I could chew for this game. You are correct about the other rooms- the idea was to use the backroom for baking the cakes and storing the decorative objects, we just couldn't get that far with our limited programming experience. The NPCs were also supposed to come in on their own, hang out, move around, make little messes, etc. to be cleaned up after the party. This is the barest of bones we could get ready in 2 weeks.

That's completly understandable! I do think the idea sound nice, I like the idea that you can bake cakes and the like, may give the game a dinamic feel when the party start. Like, the first step is to prepare the room, but then you still need to attend the guests needs to have a succesful party, sound cool! Good luck if you decide to expand on the idea, I would like to see that!

the game is a bit buggy and it wasn't clear to me that ending the party meant that the game would stop, but there's a nice selection of stuff to decorate the room with
