• It's an interesting interactive experience but it falls very short of being a game. Perhaps having more choices for the player will make it a bit more interesting. As it is, the only thing a player can do is click on the trees, even if there was an option to resist or decide to not cut trees leading to an alternate ending would have made the experience meaningful. Right now it's way too limited in the actual impact it can have. The thing about games unlike movies is that the players have agency and are able to affect the world. Take that away and very few experiences can claim to be games.
• More than a game, SaveTrees is a simple reflective message to the world. It works interestingly well with the theme. It is visually appealing and the music fits the mood and the theme.
• More than a game, this is an interactive commentary by the developers. While the execution of what has been built is fairly decent, it would have been very interesting to see more interactive gameplay and relevance to theme.
