Cute little game! It reminds me of Final Fantasy Christal Chronicles =). I like the idea you had for the theme!
The controls are a bit janky because the character tends to bounce on the ground sometimes, and the spikes are sometimes hard to see. Also, having jumps where the player cannot see where he lands is a bit frustrating ^^'.
Otherwise, it's a nice little game, with a good concept, that just needs a bit of polish. And audio =p.
