Quick question

This will be my first game jam and I'm very excited to participate. I had a question I wanted to ask.

Is it fair to start brainstorming ideas? It's a bit of a silly question but I've voted for a theme and have already started coming up with ideas for several of them. Would this go against the rules/spirit of the game jam?

Thanks

Well, I think nobody would be accused of thinking about the themes, it mostly depends on how you want to experience the game jam !

Do you want to try and figure out something in the heat of the moment or think about it in advance ?
I guess you could train ? Using some BAD ideas and keep the good ones for the jam, so you gotta start over.

Respect the other participants and play fair, right ?

Right!

Thank you very much, I won't be making anything before the jam, just brainstorming.

Thanks for your reply!
