An interesting idea, though I think some things could use more work. There was one tunnel which was somehow so dark my headlamp was completely ineffective, which felt kind of unfair.
Also, I wanted point out an error that I also have made this very jam, which is holding ctrl to crouch. Ctrl+W is the shortcut to close the tab in Firefox, and holding ctrl+W in the web build does what you’d imagine it would.
Yeah maybe Ctrl wasn’t a great decision but crouch and run are toggles, maybe that also needs to be better communicated to the player
Nicely done! The visuals were clean and had good charm. The footsteps were loud and very disruptive, try pitch shifting them or using few different sounds instead the same one each time. Best of luck! Great job overall! Had fun!
I feel like this game would benefit a lot from more directions or clues as to what I am supposed to do instead of trying out different gear and walking around in a cave until I find an issue, I wanted to enjoy the game but i spend my time grabbing gear and reloading the page to try again when it was unclear why the head lamp didnt remove the darkness
