How does the game fit the theme?
It did in my mind, but it doesn't fit at all now.
What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
audio was sourced from OpenGameArt (all are CC0 license), sky shader from GDQuest (MIT License), circle progress shader by imjp94 (MIT License)

I really liked the dialogs of all the villagers, love to see you update it post jam. Ironically due to over scoping I think the game fits the theme lol.
When it comes to feedback, the player movement feels nice, but the jump is a bit floaty, would recommend to tweak it a bit, but besides it I think it's a pretty good foundation for a full game
I love the honesty! Good job!!
Stunning. Cade felt weighty and I was pleasantly surprised by the game-feel given by the camera. Visuals were consistent and it had a charm that, personally, reeled me in. The game yearns for a lot in game play, it is like a walking sim but the game has the infrastructure to support something greater. Great death screen as well. would play again.
It may not have a lot of gameplay, but it's witty, it's charming, the villagers got many chuckles out of me, I had a great time!
And you say it doesn't fit the theme anymore, but I think that because it was an overscoped project, it ironically ends up quite fitting!
Really cool idea, hope u keep updating it.
I'm stuck on loading screen...
