I did have a fun time playing, but it took me a bit to understand the gameplay. I think an in-game tutorial would go a long way. You should think about adding one if you continue to work on the game after the jam concludes!
I had a bit of a hard time figuring out how to play. I tried following the instructions on the game page but I still struggled. I like the art though and I do see potential here for a fun game loop.
