I like the feeling of being in the ocean. The end screen was funny.
The aesthetic on the final boss definitely worked for me.
This is going in my top 5. I really love the art with this. Everything is so odd-looking and off putting that it makes it work somehow. Also, how did you guys do the boss? Was the just a gif with a collider attached? It's such a unique looking game, great job!
Hey thanks! Funny you ask, we have a 2d and 3d artist on our team, but we couldn't figure out how to make Godot's 2d coordinate system match up with the 3d positions for the octopus boss, so our 3d artist pre-rendered out the 3d model as a sprite sheet last minute so we could still include all the boss programming we had done, just in proper 2d instead haha!
I love the crab sprites they're so cute!
