Hey,thank you for your feedback, i really appreciate it!
It was the same for me too, i really don't know anything about the 80's prior to this gamejam, so i just researched some random fact from the 80's in wikipedia, but i am glad that you had fun. And about the question, unfortunately it is not randomized, but maybe in the future i will implement it.
Thank you so much for submitting 80's Trivia Adventure to our game jam! This was a pleasure to play and a very unique entry. The facts were fun and to the theme. I liked the 3 different segments as well as the consequence of the grim facts to keep you motivated . That one part gave me a good laugh. Excellent work on this Merlinn!
We hope to see you next month for # 2. Thank you for this beautiful piece of art
I liked it a lot! The fun facts were great and oddly I also enjoyed the grimm ones. Fun fact: This is the second game so far that mentions time magazine naming a computer as person of the year!
Also, did I just get rickrolled? lol
The only thing I would change is the last 3 questions mechanic. I found it a little too slow for my taste.
I really enjoy the game and I love that you mention the rubiks cube and studios ghibli!
We appreciate that you enjoy the fun facts and the grim facts, we did spend a few hours researching and double checking the fact on the wikipedia.
And yes, yes you did.
Thank you for your feedback on the last 3 question mechanic, and if i may ask, is it because of the scale of the room itself, or because you can only have 1 box at a time on the room?
i think it was mostly the change of pace. You have: multiple choice -> one button for choice, True or False -> one button for each, I think it would have made more sense just making a direct imput for the answer (maybe buttons from 0 to 9 to type). After all, either you knew the answer or you didn't. The mechanic didn't really add to the difficulty, it just made more tedious to aswer. Of course that is just my opinion and don't take it the wrong way, I really enjoyed the game!
