Really nice aesthetic, and a lovely intro, however, I find the jumps a bit tricky.  Maybe you could try to find a way to make the landing more steady.
Having a few extra lives would be nice as well.

it's a shame this wasn't fully finished in time, but it's a neat little game nonetheless.

The overall aesthetic was brilliant; especially during the opening cutscene.  fantastic music and art, i loved it. the story is original and has a lot of potential.

some small bugs (areas where bullets turn invisible/ the log pile kills the player for some reason) and a softlock where i got stuck in the wall twice and had to reset (in the final area). nothing too major.

 gameplay-wise, i have mixed feelings. i really hate the fact that the player has one life; there's very little room for error. on the other hand, blasting through the enemies and learning their patterns was fun once you got the hang of it.

overall this was an impressive game.  great work with this :D
