  • Lovely comics and overall aesthetic. Very cool use of messaging, but a bit disconnected from the gameplay
  • A nicely executed game with solid visuals and gameplay although the onboarding could have been improved with more clarity. The gameplay wasn't particularly original but addictive and compelling none the less. While the game is appealing the messaging could have aligned better with the requirements of the brief.
  • Wonderful art style and narrative delivered in a really nice package! The platforming requires some further work, but the concept is great!
  • This game was marmite for us! Some loved the aesthetic style of comic graphics and it is fun. However, if it wasn’t for the dialogue in the cut scenes it would be hard to relate the game to CCS. If it had been more aligned with the CCS concept e.g. playing through out the pipes, this would have been a stronger entry.
  • Fun, comic book idea which works as a simplified platformer. Can see that a lot of love has gone into the story and UI.
  • The comic stylings and overall aesthetic worked well. It is a little cheesy but that was okay - taking the core mechanics and concepts of endless runners it was simple enough to pick up and play. Collision and level balancing are the key things to consider if taking it forward - it has to be played by a wide range of audiences so almost has to have a cheatmode enabled for younger or non-gaming audiences to get the messaging across. There is some disconnect in the levelselect screen and the rest of the game but fixable. Commend the team on trying to take a different spin on an established format. Some really cool art help separate out the idea from others but it may be too abstract!
