What did you do yourself for this game?
I wrote (and then hand-wrote) the rules, drew the card background, and drew the art for four of the cards myself. Angel, my fiancee and co-designer, hand-wrote all the cards, drew the logo, the other 8 card art pieces, and came up with the idea. I also scanned in all of the artwork and writing.

What new thing did you try for this game?
OMG so much! Angel's art skills really improved (her quicksand piece was especially great) and I really liked the keys I did (Silver and Gold). I'd also never, ever scanned in art, so ALL OF THAT was new. Heck, I haven't hand-written anything longer than a paragraph and this ended up being six pages...
