Back again with a title! Beat some rats and dogs. The game intro screen was a great addition and it was all in English which was good. The game was easy to play and worked through. The only odd thing was displaying enemies in negative health rather than just 0 and you could target dead enemies and allies with attacks, which I think should be removed. The attacks maybe could also show how much damage they dealt. I'm curious to see where this goes and who Shion and Ekaterina are. What do you plan on adding next?

Those are good points you bring up, I will fix them.
I'm hoping to have graphics by the next demo day, and if I can't do it, then at least an item system in the combat prototype, for health recovery items and the like.
Although the characters are not well defined since I don't have a defined story yet, I do have some ideas of what they're like and when more system implemented we may get to know the characters together.
By the way I love the treasure chest backpack the character has in your game.
I didn't have much time to work on it but I tried to address the critique I've received the last time.
Changes for DD43:
- Renamed project from "untitledjrpg" to "Project-R" (Working title)
- .Added control instructions in-game
- Implemented a more intuitive textual user interface, replacing the old CLI
- Downside is that it should require Windows 10 TH2 (v1511) or newer for ANSI escape sequences support
- Changed character names to English to avoid incorrectly displayed Japanese characters
- Reduced binary file size in half as a test for File Size Jam
- Pause when game ends to display the victory/defeat messages
- Added Placeholder(chan) icon to the executable
