Cute game! And now I have a song about worms that will live on in my head forever
I love games like this.
i want to become an intergalactic S P A C E W I Z A R D now!
I wound up really enjoying this hour long adventure. It's very impressive that this was done in merely 2 weeks time because the polish and overall feel is superb and reminiscent of games that cost way more than free.
One of the first things that made me want to give this game a try was the fact that it's a parody of Agatha Christie's Murder on the Orient Express, which is among my favorite mystery novels.
The second thing is the game's pixel art style, which is not only super clean looking but the animations are equally impressive. It manages to show a large amount of detail, which is always impressive in a pixel art style.
I also loved the relatively dark humor involved as well. I cracked up laughing during the murder scenes even though I was wholly expecting it. I definitely wasn't expecting the extended blood spurting scene and then the subsequent death of the detective too. I found myself laughing quite a few times over the course of the game though so it was a very enjoyable hour spent.
If you're in the market for an entertaining point and click adventure games that not only hearkens back to a classic mystery novel, but also classic LucasArts adventure games, then you'll love Loco Motive. Happily recommended.
A well written murder mystery!! please try this out and explore the train as Arther Ackerman- Attorney at Law!
