Hey! I'd be lying if I said I didn't have projects similar to this one. It takes guts to put it out there, even if it's unfinished, or unpolished, or even totally broken. But I don't see a broken game - I see a pretty competent movement system, some input handling and animation, a nice first person camera, and some basic level blocking for testing.
It may not seem like it, but these types of things are the fundamental building blocks we all start with, and we all still use them constantly - not sure if this is your first game, or if you had strict time constraints, but this definitely isn't nothing. In fact I'd say you're most of the way to a complete game, depending on what it is gameplay wise you were looking to achieve.
I will say, It was hell to get this to run on my Windows Machine, but honestly I'm glad I did. I'm happy to be able to say I was one of the few that took the time to look at what you made, and said "You know what, I can see potential here."
Because it's true! Keep up the good work.
As an aside, entries for this Jam are supposed to be exported for Windows or Web to be judged, but it's really not that big of a deal. Personally, It forced me to learn how to use WSL to run linux games! So thanks for that :)
