Roguelike Elements
Procedural generation for the gameplay board, terrain, objectives, and opponents collection of tokens. Tokens are also a limited resource as tokens lost in battle are lost forever, while tokens won are added to the player's collection. Progression only exists until the player loses. Once the player has lost a match, the next playthrough their token collection is back to square one. This is my interpretation of the roguelike/board game genres combined in a high-stakes battle in a turn-based, board game environment.
