i really like the writing in this, but i think i borked the game somehow :( got stuck in the manual, and then on reload it's just stuck on the "consequences of your actions" screen. i have a sneaking suspicion that it's on purpose though...

I don't think there's a situation where you should get stuck in the manual in any circumstance, so I'll take a look at that part of it.
