Inspired by game jams like the Bookmark Game Jam, Business Card Jam and Pleasure Card RPG Jam, 58mm RPG Jam is a game jam for micro-RPGs that fit within a 58mm diameter circle.

Why 58mm?

I have recently got a badge maker, and 58mm is one of the most versatile sizes compatible with various readily available attachments.

Additionally, it is big enough to fit in some text, while not too big that it's became unwieldy.

If you don't have a badge maker, you can just cut it out and stick it on some cardboard (also cut into 58mm circles). Then you can add whatever you want onto the back!

Design tip: If you have a badge maker, then you should follow the manufacturer's instruction. It is recommended to have a 2.5mm margin added to the design, so all your text and other important elements should fit within a 53mm circle in the centre.

Rules

1. Write a role-playing game (RPG) that fits on a 58mm diameter circle.
   1. This is a tabletop/physical/analogue game jam, and not for video games.
2. The game has to be made within the jam period.
   1. It's fine if you have the idea before the 1st of July 2026. Just make sure your itch.io project is created within the jam period.
3. Multiple entries are allowed
4. It is recommended to mention RPG safety tools in the itch.io game description.
5. No gen AI content! Entries containing them will be removed.
6. No hate speech or bigotry!
7. We reserve the right to remove any submissions that are against the spirit of the jam.
