Hmm another game with no actual title, I hope this is the right game.

I feel like maybe this tour guide is bad at his job. No, it is the children who are wrong. This town is really boring, why does it need a tour guide?

This mapping...I feel like this house is on an acid trip, whoever built it was not a licensed architect that is for sure...and suddenly the house just ends and there is a cave and a floating Harold. Is this Harold 6?

I think this Harold is supposed to be gigantic? It is unclear, I am starting to wonder if maybe I'm drunk. The exposition dump is real, I feel like this is not a normal form of conversation that people have.

Suddenly...Kevin. I now have no idea what I am supposed to do or where to go, likely the cave from earlier that I was told to avoid, since the exposition dump said that I have a boomerang and the power of wind, weird thing to randomly bring up.

Looking at my skills, my one attack skill is a fire skill called burning wind...this isn't how elements work, at least I have a healing skill to, aptly named 'heal'. I also have a sword...which is not a boomerang at all. I feel like the exposition and the game play really chose not to listen to each other.

Being told that I have no reason to go to the cuckoo clock inn, but I started in front of it. Was I just loitering?

From the abrupt and jarring scene transition, it seems that this cave is actually a set of sewers? Also who is Aaron and why did he show up? He wasn't included in the exposition dump earlier.

So Aaron has the exact same skills as I do, and the same class. Suddenly feeling like maybe Kevin isn't the chosen one after all. Even our stats are identical. I am going to start referring to Aaron as Red Kevin.

The cave literally lead into a modern looking sewer...this entire world is on drugs. A slime awaited as soon as I entered the sewer, but somehow no one had seen a monster in a thousand years...that is one stealthy ass slime.

These maps really leave something to be desired...the desire is for good maps.

I killed the boss slime and...nothing, nowhere else to go, guess it is time to leave the sewer cave mountain.

Was suggested that I rest up before leaving town. Cannot enter my own house and cannot use Aaron's house to rest. I also cannot use the inn as I have my own home...well guess I'm heading off with half mp, hope I don't die.

It seems that the game ends there, guess I won't need to rest after all.

Overall I felt this game needs a LOT of work. The mapping was just beyond terrible, even using RTP this could have been done so much better.

The story is pretty much non existent. The opening of the game was a bad guided tour that gave a huge info dump of no value. I learned a very very tiny bit of the world history and the other heroes, but it felt unimportant. The reason behind Kevin wanting to be a hero and Aaron supporting him despite no one having dealt with monsters in a thousand years was never mentioned and felt like it could have been so much more important.

The lack of separate classes or any skills or weapons in any way related to what Kevin was supposed to be really hurt the game, it just felt lazy. A new skill or two and a custom weapon could have easily been made in the 24 hour time frame. In addition the lack of any monsters besides a single slime made the game very boring.
